About The Tour

The 7th Annual Studio Tour for Estes Park

Our primary objective is to share with each other and the community at large. We want to explain our process and let you touch materials and tools. We value taking the arts to the community in this personal way. We benefit personally from the collaboration and discussion amongst ourselves as well as any sales during the Tour.

Thank you to everyone who has come out, especially those of you that have purchased work or had a great conversation with the artists. This event is founded and funded by participating artists. Additional support comes from local businesses that value creativity in our community:

Self-expression, curiosity, trial-and-error, and wild delight…the creative process is so humanizing. Sponsors help make this event happen. Viva Creative Culture!

Jerry Allison
370 Whispering Pines Drive ~ 713-854-7076

A few years ago, I moved from the East Coast of the United States to Colorado. As a newcomer to the west, I became fascinated by the ruins and rock art left behind by ancient native peoples. I began to travel the mountain and desert west to photograph these haunting places.

Joe Arnold creates sacred spaces inspired by his travels to the temples of Asia and the sacred places of Europe and Mexico. His work is displayed in his Sacred Art Garden which is filled with prayer wheels and shrines for contemplation, meditation and prayer.

Karen Barnett

Karen Barnett is a painter and ceramicist drawing inspiration from the landscape, nature and animals. Her landscapes are vivid with color and spontaneous strokes. Her handmade tiles and sculptures are carved, stained and glazed, representing flora and fauna. Occasionally she delves into different materials, most recently creating leather bags.

Alan Belcher
325 Little Beaver Dr, Estes Park, CO 80517

Airbrushing/painting on aluminum panels. The aluminum allows me to texture the metal before and after applying paint to the surface. The metal surface also allows me to etch into the metal through the paint and drill holes to place objects or wires.

Jim Biggers
1550 Spur Lane Estes Park 80517 - 970-227-8577

James Biggers is humbled and honored to be selected as the 2022 Legacy Artist for the Colorado Governor’s Show. Looking at the world with a different eye, James Biggers looks for more than merely seeing the natural beauty of a scene. He tries to find the emotions that are tied up within a subject and portray those in his paintings.

Laura Davis
2781 Devils Gulch Rd Estes Park, CO 80517 ~ 970-889-2575

Beauty is hidden in plain sight. My work is a joyful interpretation of the divine details which surround us. Reflections on dewdrops, peeling paint, beetle paths, wood grain and patterns in natural or human made structures are captured and highlighted by my lens, witness to the order inherent in the universe.

Victoria Endsley
541 Big Thompson Ave, Suite 201 ~ 9709885763

Victoria Endsley is a multimedia artist with an extensive background in stained glass, pyrography, linocut, block printing, and acrylic painting. With a deep passion for functional art, Victoria believes art should be a part of every aspect of life.

John Long
370 Whispering Pines Drive ~ 713-854-7076

I am new to Estes Park, got here shortly before COVID started. I come from a family of artists. I am trained as a photographer, film maker, poet and printer. It has been nearly twenty-five years since I began making 3-dimensional assemblages and 2-dimensional collages, an artistic journey that led me to abstract and text-based painting.

John Lynch
180 Chalet Ridge Ct. Chalet Ridge Ct. is just south of the intersection of Mary’s Lake Rd. and Hwy 7. ~ 970.227.5129

John has always been passionate about working with wood. His devotion to reclaiming fallen trees—and finding a way for Mother Nature to have a second chance to show off her beauty—led him to the lathe and woodturning. Watch John turning utilitarian bowls and decorative items in his expansive wood studio.

Monte Michener
2158 Uplands Circle ~ 970-581-8695

I get excited about the reuse of materials. Most of my work is a process of rediscovering a new use for a material that may be considered scrap or clutter. Rusty, chipped, weathered by the elements, fires, floods and other natural events create a patina and a opportunity for something new. My job, as a artist, is to see that opportunity and create.

RaDean Mynatt
1711 Windham Ln, Estes Park, CO 80517 ~ 970-203-4134

My name is RaDean Mynatt and I am a native of Colorado, making Estes Park my home for the past 20 years. My career has been highlighted with a variety of artistic endeavors including sculpting, stained glass and murals as well as opening a window in the early 70’s as one of the first female tattoo artists.

Cynthia Price Reedy
1219 Chasm Drive, Estes Park. Drive past the house to park in circular drive. Phone: 970-980-9443

I am a native Colorado artist who finds that creating gives my life richness. I do realistic watercolor paintings and abstract acrylics. I also make art journals and folios. When I am creating, I am happy. My formal training was as a clinical psychologist but I have always made time for art. Now that I am retired, it is my main passion. I have learned by taking workshops and painting with artist friends and family.
